We are a team of registered nutritionists and psychotherapists specialising in food- and body image-related concerns. We aim to blend traditional nutrition with counselling to offer a deeply personalised, compassionate, and client-centred approach that is catered to each individual we meet.
Pixie Turner
My name is Pixie, I’m a registered nutritionist (RNutr) (MSc), psychotherapist (MBACP), and science communicator.
As a psychotherapist and nutrition counsellor, I specialise in disordered eating, intuitive eating, body image work, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I integrate food and psychotherapy, discussing both food and emotions to get a more complete understanding of a person. My overall aim is to help improve someone’s relationship with both food and themselves. I am non-diet, person-centred, and trauma-informed in my practice.
Early in my career I found it challenging to access appropriate training aimed at nutrition professionals in private practice, which has ignited a passion in filling those gaps by offering courses, supervision, and shadowing.
My science communication work extends across several platforms: social media, teaching, public speaking, writing, media work, and my podcast ‘In Bad Taste’.

Hebe Richardson
I’m Hebe (she/her) and I’m a queer, HAES©-aligned, registered associate nutritionist (ANutr), trainee counsellor and psychotherapist and yoga teacher (200hrs).
I’ve been working in nutrition since 2018. I had previously worked in the food industry, where I was involved in many projects looking to make nutrition information more accessible, relatable and evidence-based.
At the Food Therapy Centre, I integrate my training in nutrition and counselling, supporting those with body image concerns, disordered eating and intuitive eating. Working 1:1, we use a collaborative approach, to explore your relationship to food, body image and yourself with curiosity and kindness.
Outside of nutrition, I am also a 200hrs trauma-informed yoga teacher specialising in inclusive and accessible movement. I teach in community spaces offering classes, retreats and events to people of all abilities.
